2019 Chinese New Year is around the corner and today we are going to talk about something that don’t usually do – Feng Shui 風水 because it is part of Chinese Culture and many Chinese believe it can bring benefits like wealth, health, and good luck.

Here are 6 Feng Shui tips that you can start using today to improve your financial flow.

1. Decorate your front door

Doors represent how well you’re entering your life. You’ll want your front door to be welcoming so that opportunities will come knocking. Decorate it with plants, check your doorbell rings clearly so you can hear “opportunities”, and make sure that the door doesn’t get stuck or jam easily.

2. Add water elements to your home or office

In Feng Shui, water is a symbol of abundance. Buy a small indoor water fountain and place it in a well lit corner of the money area in your home or office. If this isn’t possible, consider displaying images of moving water like waterfalls or flowing rivers. Make sure the water in your fountain isn’t stagnant. Don’t use a water element in your bedroom as it will negatively impact your finances.

3. Fix any leaks in your home or office

Feng Shui is all about maintaining a harmonious flow of energy. Having a leak in the ceiling or toilet causes a disruption in the flow, and symbolizes your money leaking out. Get any leakage fixed as soon as possible.

4. Close the toilet lid

Toilets holds a downward spiraling energy. By closing the lid, you’re protecting your own energy from flowing down and away from you.

5. Clean your kitchen stove

In Feng Shui, the stove symbolizes abundance. Make sure to keep your stove clean and you can rotate using the burners because it symbolizes the opening up of new opportunities.

6. Place citrine crystals near your window

Citrine crystals are known for attracting wealth. Place them at your windowsill to attract wealth and light into your home or office.
